How to focus on your wellbeing while working from home

Well, were we mistaken! It’s nearly been one full year that a lot of us have started telecommuting, or more commonly known as WFH. As cliché as it sounds, establishing a work from home routine, can really help you get into the swing of things. So, here’s our top tips!

Alexa! Play Work B&*ch by Britney Spears.  We all thought we were leaving ‘You’re on Mute’ behind in 2020. Well, were we mistaken! It’s nearly been one full year that a lot of us have started telecommuting, or more commonly known as WFH. As cliché as it sounds, establishing a work from home routine, can really help you get into the swing of things. So, here’s our top tips!

1. Morning Routine

What, for you indicates that you’re about to begin your workday? For some it could be going for a quick walk and for others it could be merely getting dressed. Although we all love to savour in the thought of lounging around in pyjamas, this can be a bad strategy for some… A routine can be more powerful than a clock at helping you get started each day.  Think of it almost like a ‘work trigger’ to signify your working day has started.

Why not incorporate wellness into your morning routine? To kick-start your day, sip on Mude Immunoboost to keep you fighting fit, naturally. Our signature Immunoboost technology contains, an immune strengthening molecule, Beta Glucan. In a 2012 study, mood and energy levels were found to have increased in women that consumed 250mg of Beta Glucan for 12 weeks. With 250mg of Beta Glucan in each Mude drink, why not take control of your mood by incorporating one of these into your morning routine. So, whatcha waiting for?

2. Designated Space

One of the major challenges, WFH has introduced is being able to keep our work and home life separate. The weekends are beginning to feel like one extended lunch break, so having a designated space (or corner!)  will help you turn ‘on’ at the beginning of the day, and on the flipside, allow you to turn ‘off’ and disengage. Why not kit out your space with houseplants that not only enhance the appearance, but studies have shown that they boost moods, increase creativity, reduce stress and eliminate air pollutants – making you healthier and happier! Ah mother nature, what can she not do?

3. Break time!

Don’t dupe yourself of breaks, especially during lunch time. Working from home can make us feel like we should be available 24/7. But just being ‘there’ is no use if you are not mentally present. Take this time to re-charge and re-energise yourself to digest what the day has thrown at you thus far. Making time for your breaks is important to help manage feelings of stress and allows you to concentrate on something else so you can feel even more focused when you return.

*Raise your hand if you’ve been personally victimised by the afternoon slump* If you’re feeling sluggish and reaching for that third cup of coffee (we see you), don’t! Forget the unhealthy energy drinks and momentous amounts of caffeine. We have a healthy drink alternative for you. With Mude Work, you get to focus your mind, naturally. This brew is specifically designed to give you quick on-the-go recharge when you need it most. With energy-increasing and brain boosting functions, the Ashwaghanda plant, and BCAA’s in Mude Work can give you that much needed mid-day pick me up!

And what would WFH be, without the viral bloopers we all know and love. Here’s some of our favs to watch on your well-earned break. 😉
